Happy Calc Elementary Maths Space Theme Puzzle Review & Competition

I was recently sent a Happy Calc Elementary Maths Space Theme Puzzle from Fun Comet to review.

When I looked at it I thought that it was a really different way for children to learn about numbers.

My four year old twins are now getting very competent with their numbers and this seemed like a very interesting way to use their imagination to not only learn, but be creative as well.
This may be called a puzzle, but it’s not a puzzle in the tradionational way. It’s very open ended and there is no set pattern to follow.
found this to be a very exciting way to learn numbers up to 10 and also learn simple adding and subtracting, while building rockets and also an awesome space station!

The puzzle comes in a colourful box which also acts as a guideline to what you can do with the puzzle.

Our twin girls really enjoyed putting the pieces together and it definitely started to get them thinking about what happens when you add numbers together.

There are 138 pieces so there is really no limit to the variations of sums and rockets you can create. The puzzle pieces are of excellent quality, and fit together perfectly every time.

When we have had puzzles previously my twin girls have usually done them on their own. This has definitely changed because it has no fixed picture so the girls were able to add to the puzzle as they wish, combining with each other to build a space station and creating their own math sums.
The happy Calc Maths Space Theme puzzle costs $39 (approx £29. Price correct at time of review). You can purchased this puzzle here. The puzzle is suitable for children of four years and over.
My overall opinion is that the happy Calc elementary math space theme puzzle is innovative and a very new and refreshing way to learn maths in a very fun way that can be left together and your children can come back and forth to make new calculations or simply just change the space station and rockets and is great value for money.
