[AD] Planning The Perfect Wedding Day

April 9, 2021

One of the biggest events in our lives is our wedding day. Everybody has a different way of celebrating the day. It could be that you want a big wedding with lots of family and friends to help you celebrate the day that you marry your one and only love, or it could be that you want a wedding day that is more intimate with fewer family and friends attending. Whichever is your choice there is still a lot of planning involved to make sure your wedding day is perfect in every way.

You will have put a lot of effort into organising your day, picking a perfect wedding dress that will make you a stunning bride and suits for the groom and best man so they look their best.

One of the best parts of a wedding is having your photo taken. You are without a doubt the centre of attention and rightly so. You may well hire a professional photographer whose role will be to take those more official photographs which are great but quite often can feel a little bit too posed.

When I look back at our wedding day I always find the photos that I love the most are ones that have been taken by family or friends, and I’m sure many more were taken that we never got to see. What I particularly loved about these photos were the different angles that they were taken from. They are very natural looking.

Of course nearly all the guests at a wedding take photos and wouldn’t it be perfect if you could pool all the photos on an app such as Wedding Photo Swap where the bride and groom can then see all the photos of their perfect wedding day. It could be a special moment when it was just you and your spouse sharing a romantic moment that somebody captured with a photo. How beautiful to capture such a moment for you to look back on in future years.

There are so many things to organise when it comes to your wedding and it can be very expensive. It’s also very important that you set out a budget of what you can afford and stick to it.

Picking a venue that is perfect but also affordable is very important. There is no point in having a castle if you end up paying for it for years to come. Pick a smaller more intimate venue that is within your budget.

It’s also important that you allocate more of your budget to certain items such as the wedding dress. After all if you are the bride you are the star and therefore you have to look the best. To achieve this you can save money on the bridesmaids dresses by for example using prom dresses as an alternative to bridesmaid dresses. You could also get the bridesmaids to have prom hair styles to suit their dresses.

There are so many things to organise for a wedding day. What were your priorities for your wedding day? I would love to hear in the comments below.

This is a paid collaboration.
