Celebrate the Older Generation with a Chums Competition and Fantastic Prizes

So often today we can forget the older generation, but truth be known where would we be without them?

They are mostly the matriarch and patriarchs of all family. They are the glue that holds a family together through good and bad times. They are doting grandparents, always there to help with school runs and help during the school holidays and they always do this with a smile on their face.

Chums want to take the time to say thank you to the seniors in our community who constantly give their time, wise words and wit. Chums want to shine a special light on our community heroes who inspire younger generations to be the best people they can be in life.

What is purpose and the impact of Chums competition?

Chums are inviting people across the UK to nominate a senior person in their life for everything they do in their lives. It could be grandparent who helps with the school run or during the school holidays and always doing it with a smile on their face. It could be an older person who has gone the extra mile in their local community, an armed forces or military veteran. This is a chance to reward the older people in our community.

Prizes

The three lucky winners will each receive a “Reward Package” that features a whole host of amazing prizes, including.

• A £100 Chums voucher
• Theatre tickets for two
• A £100 Ryanair voucher
• A jigsaw puzzle
• A box of chocolates
• A five year diary

How to enter

So if you want to be in with a chance of winning an amazing care package for your loved one or older person who has done wonderful things in the community, all you have do is simply fill out a form telling chums why you think your nominee deserves to win. It must be over 300 words describing why you think they should be rewarded and include as much information as possible. It should also include a photo to compliment your entry and the older person must be over 60 years old. Here is the submission form to enter.

The competition will run for two weeks starting on 1st June 2023 and ending on 15th June 2023.

The three lucky winners will be announced on Chums website and also on Chums Facebook and Instagram channels on 26th July 2023.
