Family Road Trip Around Fuerteventura 

Summer is now just around the corner and that can only mean one thing! It’s time to start planning our summer vacation.

It could be that you like an all-inclusive holiday where you never need to leave the hotel and, of course, in a hot summer climate or you could prefer to staycation on a camping trip. Nowadays the options when it comes to a holiday have no limits.

For us as a family we love to go on a road trip type of holiday. The main reason for this is that we get to see as many places as possible. Having a car gives you the freedom to explore, especially if you go to an island such as Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands.

This year we are seriously thinking that we fancy a road trip to Fuerteventura and our intention is to hire a car so we can explore the island and all its beauty.

1. The Northern Route

What’s more, don’t forget to take in the awesome beaches.

This is where you can experience just how beautiful Fuerteventura is with a day trip to Betancuria Natural Park. It has amazing scenic landscapes. In fact, some of the best in the Canary Islands and along the way make sure you visit the famous caves at Ajuy and take in a stunning sunset on your way back to the hotel.

3. The Southern Route

You cannot miss the spectacular drive south to visit Jandia Peninsula which is home to many of the best best beaches in the Canary Islands. You must also visit the town of Morro Jable. It’s the perfect place to stop to relax and have a meal of freshly caught fish and seafood.
