Head to the beach for the day
When the wind is calm and the sun is shining, a day at the beach is the perfect activity to do with your children. Whether you have one local or have to venture out to one, beaches offer a lot for both children and adults. Children can enjoy splashing in the water and running along the sand, whilst adults can relax in the sun and enjoy swimming in the sea. Have a family movie day where you turn your living room into a cinema
Instead of heading out to the cinema, why not bring the cinema to you? Get out all your duvet covers and cushions and make the living room your own cinema. Head to the shop and buy your favourite snacks and if you have the cash spare, order a takeaway. Depending on the space in your living room and if you have the budget, you could invest in a projector, these are great for really capturing a cinema feeling. You can use a projector instead of a tv moving forward as well as for any presentations if you do them.
