Summer is nearly here and that means it’s time to get out in the garden for some outdoor fun.

I’m a dad of twin girls and during the summer months they spend 99% of their time in the garden playing football and playing on the trampoline. In fact, they are forever making up games as they enjoy summer and the sunshine.

When I was recently approached to review the Gel Blaster Surge I instantly knew this would be perfect for the girls. They are both competitive and they totally enjoy a game that involves winning and losing because they are always trying to out do each other.

So what is the Gel Blaster Surge?

The Gel Blaster Surge is a new Generation 3 ready to go blast edition with adjustable FPS and semi and automatic modes and a 100ft + range that is fun for all ages and it comes in electric green.

What does the Gel Blaster Surge do?

The rechargeable Gel Blaster Surge shoots water based beads known as Gellets that will burst on impact. The gellets are airsoft so no pain on impact and they don’t stain so need for a huge clean-up after the big battle.

The gellets are ready for action by soaking them in water for 2 hours. Unlike other beads they don’t leave plastic bits and are eco-friendly, non-toxic, non-irritating and will burst on contact.

The Gel Blaster Surge has two blast modes: semi automatic which fires one gellet per trigger pull or you can go fully automatic which fires 8 gellets when holding down the trigger. Either way you are ready for the big battle.

The Gel Blaster Surge Aldo has an adjustable velocity so you can control the power, especially if you are in a battle with somebody who is new to the Gel Blaster Surge.

Our thoughts

The girls loved the Gel Blaster Surge. It was loads of fun and the fact that the gellets didn’t hurt on impact was a big plus. It was certainly a battle royal between the girls, although difficult to know who actually won! Haha!

The Gel Blaster Surge is very well made and does exactly what it says on the box. I love the fact that the gellets are eco-friendly and don’t stain anything. It’s a 5 star toy that I would highly recommend you get for your children for some summer fun in the back garden.
