How My Love Of Card Games Started

My childhood was, to say the least, a little confusing at times. This was due to being brought up in a toxic, divorced family however, there was one constant in my life that gave me stability which was my grandmother. I spent my days at my grandmothers house. In fact she basically brought me up.

Whatever happened during the week I would always spend Saturday with my grandmother. I would have lunch with her and then stay for tea with her. We would watch the wrestling on the TV together and then after tea my grandmother would teach me all the card games she knew. I’m fairly sure she would let me win all her pennies but she always said I had won fair and square!

What I developed from those Saturday afternoons was a life long love of card games and I have never stopped playing cards. I’ve even taught my own children the very same card games that my grandmother taught me all those years ago.

It took me a little while to learn this game but once I had worked out the rules and the play it was very addictive and I couldn’t play it enough. A very fascinating twist on the traditional solitaire game of cards.

As I have previously said my love of card games started with my grandmother and the one game that she taught me was solitaire so I was always able to play cards even when I was on my own.

So to find a website that I can indulge my love of solitaire and also learn new twists to. A brilliant solo card is fantastic.

Sometimes the old pastimes such as card games are the best and solitaire does date back to the 1700’s so it has definitely stood the test of time and now totally up to date with the ability to play solitaire online.
