Neveo Monthly Family Journal Review #AD

The world we now live in is actually in some ways getting smaller. Families can be spread all over the globe, and there are a variety of reasons for this. It could be because of job opportunities, the chance of a better lifestyle, or simply to make a fresh start. So often many families have grandparents or parents still living in their hometown, but quite often children also have grandparents living in far flung parts of the globe.

With the advancement of technology it’s now easier than ever to keep in touch. That’s why when I was recently approached by Neveo, a monthly family journal, it instantly piqued my interest.

So many of our elder generation don’t have access to the internet, and even those that do quite often don’t have a full understanding of how it works. Why would they? After all, it’s not something they grew up with.

This is why I thought that Neveo’s monthly family journal is a fantastic idea. It means that grandparents needn’t miss out completely on watching their grandchildren grow up. Of course we take so many photos and quite often grandparents living away never get the chance to see them. Now, let’s be honest here, how many grandparents do you know that have a smart phone? Not many I bet!

So How Does It All Work?

The first thing you need to do is download the free app and create an account. Once that is done you are on your way to creating your first monthly newsletter for your parents or grandparents.

The app is incredibly simple to use. You just upload your chosen photos. There’s even an option to add a caption to each photo to personalise each and every photo, and the whole family can get involved by uploading any photos they want.

The newsletter is personalised to whoever you want it to be for. In my case I did it for my children’s Nanna. You don’t have to worry about the layout of your newsletter because Neveo do it all for you once you have uploaded 50 photos.

It’s a monthly delivery to anywhere in the world for just £9.99 for 50 photos. This is delivered by post to your recipient every month.

The whole process from opening your account to your recipient receiving their newsletter was slick and totally trouble free.

For me this is a perfect way for my children’s Nana to keep in touch with her grandchildren to know what they are doing on a monthly basis. There is nothing more important than involving all the family in family life, and as I said before with the elder generation not being as savvy with technology that the younger generation are, this is a lovely way to show them exactly what is happening in their lives. There is nothing quite as powerful as photos, and a few photos that you can hold, and keep to look over time and again.

Neveo have really come up with a brilliant way of keeping families in touch, and I would highly recommend the Neveo monthly journal as a perfect way of keeping everybody updated.

Neveo currently have a Christmas promotion running with their annual plan. They are offering 3 months free on the annual plan of 12 months. Costing £89.91, which is normally £119.90, a fantastic saving. You can subscribe here

  1. That does look pretty great. We like to send pictures to the great grandparents on my wife’s side as they don’t really understand technology so it’s a nice way of them following how our Little Bear is growing. But this looks better, as you can write a little update on it too! #thatfridaylinky

  2. This is something I’ve thought about with my mum. I’ve started sending postcards through Touchnote for the same reason, this is that on a other level. I’ll give it a look. #thatfridaylinky

  3. This is a wonderful idea. With our world getting so much bigger it is so important to be intentional about keeping in contact with those far away! I bet the family loves to receive these!

  4. This is such a beautiful idea to share! I’ve been thinking of movie to another state because California is so crazy. What’s kept us here so long is that all our family is here and I never wanted to leave them. I think this is a brilliant way to share memories with family you can’t see all the time, especially the grandparents who want to see their grandchildren growing up. Thanks for sharing, yet another great post. You seem to always post things I am thinking about for the moment. #ThatFridayLinky
