ROXI: Electric Jukebox Review And Giveaway #ad

August 31, 2017

I love new technology and in particular I love music so when The Electric Jukebox offered me the chance to review their new radical home entertainment hub, ROXI, I jumped at the chance. As they say music at home should be for sharing not headphone wearing.

As regular readers of my blog will know I have five children. Two of them are five year old twin girls and they love singing and dancing. They’re forever singing along to the radio or a film they may be watching.

ROXI is perfect for exactly this. It’s the first dedicated, all in one entertainment experience designed for your home.

Set up is quick and In just two minutes you’ll be enjoying the best in music entertainment. ROXI has access to over 29 million songs including all the latest hits. You can sing with the stars on a karaoke style party. It also has a music quiz, ‘Name that Tune’, and access to all the radio stations in the world. That’s just for starters which is seriously awesome!

Independent research says that kids spend on average 23 hours a week isolated on their mobiles or other devices. 66% of parents wish their family spent more time together. 78% of parents try to persuade their kids to spend less time on their devices. And 89% of parents think music can make families closer.

When playing karaoke, the words appear on screen so it’s easy to follow.

Electric Jukebox’s mission is to help families lead a better life by sharing music experiences, which also includes the sound machine which includes yoga and meditation melodies, therapeutic sounds like rain and of course white noise to help babies sleep.

What you get in the box

1. ROXI Hub

This transforms your TV and speakers to the best music entertainment. The hub streams over 170 years of music via wi-fi or a wired Ethernet connection.

2. ROXI Controller

This is a gesture based controller with a built-in microphone for voice searching and singing along to your favourite karaoke songs.

It also comes with a charging cable for the remote and a HDMI cable for connection to your television.

You get a 1 year premium music pass for unlimited ad-free streaming access to millions of songs. The second year which cost a very competitive £52.00.

It has a family protect facility that will enable you to switch off explicit lyrics at the touch of a button and you can set your Facebook photo albums to music, making your TV a beautiful picture frame.

The Electric Jukebox ROXI is without doubt a great bit of technology that involves all the family young or old and we have had loads of fun already and can’t wait to have to have lots more fun. One moment I have to share with you is my five year old twin daughter, M, singing Baby by Justin Bieber it really is a cute moment!

ROXI by Electric Jukebox is available in red, blue and charcoal and retails at £199 from many major high street retailers and online.
