If you live in Australia as I have done, then you will quickly realise that the Australian lifestyle is very much based on living outdoors. This of course is very understandable when you consider the glorious weather they have with the wonderful sunshine that Australia tends to get 365 days a year. Even their winters are equivalent to a British summer.

So it’s no surprise that many people living in places such as Queensland, which I might add is a beautiful place to live, a big part of their lives is lived outdoors. They spend a lot of time in their gardens.

When buying a house in Australia there are simply some must haves, especially in the garden, that will become an extension of inside your home and it will become one large living area inside and outside. Australia is of course a big country and normally when buying a home you will often be blessed with a large back garden. Here are 2 must haves when you are house hunting.

1. Swimming pool

As I have said many homes in Australia have large back gardens and swimming pools are very normal in many homes.
