[AD] Build Your Own Kits Paper Plane Launcher And Telescope

I have teamed up with the fantastic ‘Build Your Own Kits‘ to review their paper plane launcher and telescope. They without a doubt are a fantastic bit of kit for children and adults alike.

Build Your Own Kits was created and founded by Paper Engine and made up of a collection of brilliant paper engineers with loads of experience so they certainly know what they are doing.

The company ethos is “less plastic paper fantastic” and their passion is being environmentally responsible and respecting the planet for future generations.

So I was sent two of their products to make with my eight year old twin girls. The paper plane launcher and the telescope.

1. Paper Plane Launcher RRP £16.99

The launcher was easy to assemble by simply following the instructions and pushing out the required parts which are all labelled so you know which one to use next. It is a 47 piece kit and is made of heavy duty cardboard. It also includes paper planes that you can fold to make for a challenge using the targets supplied, r you simply make your own paper planes.

Once it was all made it was sturdy and very easy to use and we had lots of fun challenging each other to hit the targets. If you adjust the planes it is possible to get them to fly 10 metres.

2. Telescope RRP £19.99

This is perfect for us as a family as we love to study the stars at night and the telescope from Build Your Own Kits is fantastic.

It’s made from sustainable cardboard and has a minimum amount of plastics. It has a focus tube that extends up to 72cm and a specialist glass optic that has a 16x magnification.

It all goes together very easily with 29 press-out parts. Between the three of us it was easy to construct. It’s perfect for the day as well to study wildlife from a distance and then check the stars out at night.

Final Thoughts

Build Your Own kits have come up with an excellent idea that not only will entertain your children, but will also keep the adults entertained. That was one part that I love about the product. No matter what your age you can enjoy putting these together. A five star product that is great fun and also educational.
