[AD] Having A Great Night At Home

We are currently living in a very difficult time with the spread of coronavirus across the world. Self isolation has now become a standard phrase in everybody’s life.

Strangely it has made me think about the fact that because we will all be staying home more, and in particular staying at home in the evenings, that this could be an opportunity to reconnect with family in a more traditional way. You can do this by simply just watching a tv show as a family and having a great night in.

We often settle down for a night in to watch a film as a family which is easily our favourite way to spend the evening. With the current situation in the world at the moment, it’s something that families will be doing a lot more of as many families are now possibly self-isolating. It has shown me, and more importantly, reminded me of the importance of family and children. In particular, making sure we are enjoying those family nights cuddled up on the sofa because they will disappear in the blink of an eye. It is so important to cherish those moments of closeness and togetherness as a family. As a family that’s what we do on a regular basis.

This is where families can definitely re-connect with each other. Just sit down for the evening in your pj’s, get the popcorn out, have a big cuddle on the sofa and watch your favourite film or tv programme because that is exactly what we will be doing, watching a film as a family. It is easily the best thing in the world to do.
