AD] Holidays In A 5 Berth Caravan
One of my fondest childhood memories is when we went on a family holiday or a long weekend break. My childhood holidays always involved a caravan. There was nothing more exciting than finishing school on a Friday afternoon, rushing home and seeing our caravan hooked up to the car and ready to go on another caravanning family adventure.
This is something that I have been looking to do as a family with our own children to create some family caravan or motorhome memories.
I started to browse the internet to work out what would be suitable for us as a family. My thoughts were that we would need a 5 berth caravan as that would be a perfect size for our family of four plus an extra bed space if the children want to bring a friend (once social distancing restrictions ease of course). While doing my research on the internet I came across Bailey of Bristol who have a 5 berth caravan in their Phoenix+ range.
Baileys of Bristol 5 berth caravans have been designed with families who have small children in mind which is exactly what we have.
At the front of the caravan is a large parallel bed lounge which can be converted into a large double bed or two single beds. Towards the rear of the 5 berth caravan is a dedicated children’s bedroom with twin fixed bunk beds which would be perfect for my daughters. It also has a two-seater dinette which can be converted to an extra single bed at nighttime.
It has a full-width end washroom which makes it perfect for a family and has all the comforts that a family will need.
All of Bailey of Bristol caravans and motorhomes are constructed using Alu-Tech. Alu -Tech has many benefits that include sole use of thicker fully laminated bodyshell panels which are covered in an impact resistant GRP skin, interlocking aluminium extrusion framework with internal fixings. Both of these features offer increased strength and durability which will give greater protection against the elements. They also have a timber free upper body shell. The body shell is a composite plastic internal skeleton which improves durability.
They have a lighter body shell and a more balanced weight distribution. This increases stability and improves road handling making for safer towing and driving.
Alu-Tech is the complete system at no extra cost which makes it a very unique construction system.
While I was navigating around Bailey of Bristol’s website checking out the 5 berth caravans I came across Bailey’s virtual Showroom which was brilliant because can take a 360-degree tour of the caravans or motorhomes. The Virtual Showroom definitely gives you a much better feel to their caravans. If you are looking for a different number of berths, you can use the caravan Virtual Showroom to filter to 2, 3, 5 or 6 berth caravans to help you narrow down your perfect choice.
Bailey of Bristol has a News & Events page which tells you they are now fully re-opened for business in a Covid safe environment. It also includes information about holidays in the UK and ways to use your caravan or motorhome to have a socially distanced trip.

After this year with the Covid-19 pandemic we will definitely be having all our holidays in this country so I will definitely be looking to caravan holidays and Bailey of Bristol have the perfect 5 berth caravan for our family holidays.
Do you have caravan holidays? I would love to hear your experiences in the comments below.
