[AD] Hoover H-POWER 300 Bagless Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner Review

We are about to add a new member to our family. We’ve decided that the time is right to have a new pet and the decision was to have a kitten as a pet.

Of course all animals will moult their fur and if you don’t keep on top of it, it will end up all over your home. To make sure you keep it all clean and fur free you need a quality vacuum cleaner that can tackle the hairs – regular vacuum cleaners can struggle.

So the timing was perfect when I recently teamed up with Hoover to review their brand new H-POWER 300 bagless cylinder vacuum cleaner to make sure that any moulting of fur from our new pet kitten doesn’t end up taking over our home.

The Hoover H-POWER 300, as I have said, is brand new and is the successor to the Optimum Power so let’s get on with telling you all about the H-POWER 300.

New features on the Hoover H-Power 300

The H-POWER 300 is a high performance cleaner with a new efficient 850W motor and cyclonic technology.

There is a H13 HEPA Filter that traps allergens and this will help purify the air in your home which in turn helps with allergy care. It has a 2 litre easy empty bin which of course means lots more cleaning and less emptying.

On the H-Power 300 pets model there is silver ion treatment to prevent the build up of bacteria and you also get a pets brush included for the pets model which of course is perfect for us with the new arrival of our pet kitten.

The reach of the H-Power 300 has now improved to a 12 metre radius which means you can now do full stair cleaning from top to bottom on a standard 13 step staircase.

It also has a new and improved carpet and all floor nozzle for greater suction control and agility for vacuuming around your home. It also has a retractable carry handle making it very easy to carry around your home.

The Hoover H-Power 300 in action

The Hoover H-power 300 vacuum cleaner is really easy to use. The extra length on the hose means that less time was taken unplugging and plugging in the hoover so I had more time for cleaning. 

The suction was very strong and picked up even the smallest of bits on the carpet and wooden floors in the kitchen. It was instant so you didn’t have to keep going over the same spot, very impressive. 

I really liked the 2 litre bin as it meant you didn’t have to empty it every two minutes as you do with some vacuum cleaners. The HEPA filter was brilliant because one member of our family suffers with allergies so anything to reduce a reaction to dust was very welcome.

Final Thoughts

Overall I have been very impressed with the Hoover H-POWER 300 bagless cylinder vacuum cleaner. It is a quality 5 star product from Hoover and is also brilliant value for money.
