[AD] Karcher Cordless Lawnmower LMO 18-30 With Battery Set Review

Spring is now in full swing and we are quickly heading towards summer. Here’s hoping that 2021 will be a summer of freedom and normality, or at the very least that it’s better than 2020.

As spring starts to end and summer begins the one part of our home that will start to grow, grow and grow even more at a very fast rate is our gardens shrubs, flowers and bushes.They all need pruning and cutting back as the summer sun encourages growth.

After many winter months of not cutting the grass the time has come to give it a trim. Of course when you mix the summer sun with watering the grass it will start to grow like wildfire. That will mean our weekend chores will include mowing the lawn on a weekly basis.

Finding the right lawnmower is never easy. It will always depend on the size of your garden and in particular your lawned area.

So when I was recently approached by Karcher to put their Cordless LMO 18-30 lawnmower through its paces and review it, I was genuinely excited. I love being out in the garden during the summer months pottering around and in particular I love to get our lawn in absolutely tip-top condition and making it look absolutely stunning. When Karcher asked me to review their lawnmower I knew that this was the perfect opportunity to perfect my lawn care routine.

The Karcher Cordless Lawnmower is part of the 18v battery universe range. It’s lightweight and very manoeuvrable. It has a 2-in-1 mowing system to either have cut grass collected in the grass catcher box or you choose to spread it over the lawn as a natural fertiliser using the mulching plug. It has a very comfortable foam handle with switches on both sides which makes it super easy to use.

Let’s start out with some technical details about the Karcher cordless lawnmower.

The battery is an 18v lithium-ion that will take approximately 94 to 143 minutes to charge. It weighs 11.6kg and measurements are 1251x371x992mm (LxWxH) power output is 2.5A. It’s very lightweight and easy to manoeuvre.

Features and Benefits of The Karcher Cordless Lawnmower

The Karcher Cordless Lawnmower has a cutting width of 33cm and for cutting heights from 35mm to 65mm. The grass box capacity is 351 litres. It has a mulching plug for when you want to naturally fertilise your lawn.

It’s very agile and light which makes it very easy to use. It will even mow the edges of your lawn which is an excellent feature. The handle can also be adjusted to suit an individuals height.

It has a fill-level indicator for the grass catcher. This is particularly useful so you aren’t guessing when to empty it. It has handles which makes it very easy to handle and a safety lock.

When you have finished mowing your lawn it folds up and is very easy to store away. It doesn’t take up a lot of room in your garden shed or garage.

My Thoughts on the Karcher Cordless Lawnmower

I have reviewed many products from Karcher including a pressure washer and floor steam cleaner and they have always impressed me with their design. Their products are always designed with the consumer in mind. This is very important to me and the Karcher Cordless Lawnmower is no different.

It was easy to put together straight out of box and the battery charging was very quick with the fast charger that was supplied with the lawnmower. Once the lawnmower was charged and ready to go, it was super easy to use. I was pleasantly surprised at how light it was. Moving it around was very easy and I particularly like the edge mowing feature as this was very useful.

Another feature that I love is that you can either catch the grass in the grass box or use the mulching plug to spread your grass cuttings over your lawn.

Karcher really have thought of everything with this cordless lawnmower. There was one feature that impressed me the most. The fact that it was cordless meant that I didn’t have to worry about getting the extension lead out and passing it out the kitchen window. It also took away the worry of moving over the lead! That’s always a worry when mowing the lawn so all I can say is thank you to Karcher as that is now a thing of the past.

Final Thoughts

The Karcher Cordless Lawnmower is a quality product that has so many excellent innovative features to benefit the user. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the Karcher Cordless Lawnmower. It’s a brilliant lawnmower that does everything and more. I can honestly say you won’t be disappointed if you buy this lawnmower.
