[AD] Lumi Chilled Filtered Water Dispenser Review
There is nothing better than when I have been out on a bike ride than to have a chilled glass of water to rehydrate my body afterwards.
So when I was recently approached by Aqua Optima to review the Lumi worktop, chilled, filtered, water dispenser, it was an instance yes please!
The Lumi water chiller delivers chilled and filtered water at the touch of button. It sits on top of your worktop in your kitchen which will ultimately free up much needed space in the fridge.
It’s discreet and stylish design is perfect for the home, office, utility room or any workspace. It’s compact design allows the Lumi to be placed anywhere.
At the touch of a button all of the family or workforce can enjoy chilled and filtered water at any time of the day. No plumbing is required to get up and going with your Lumi. Just pour the water and wait for it to be chilled and filtered. It is also environmentally friendly. All you have to do before you go to work or before the children head off to school is to get their reusable bottles, fill them with chilled water meaning there is no need to buy a single use plastic bottle of water in the supermarket. This means you are helping the environment.
The Lumi has a water capacity of 8.2 litres. It only takes 30 minutes to chill the water to 12C which is half of the time it takes you to chill a jug of water to the same temperature in your fridge. There is an LED blue light that illuminates to tell you the water is at the required chilled temperature. Then just push the button and drink.
The filtration system is very clever. It’s fast flow 5 step filtration system has Evolve technology. It will reduce impurities such as limescale, chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides and herbicides from your tap water which will give you the best tasting water every day. This will save you money on plastic bottled water which in turn will reduce your plastic use and that’s good for the planet. Lumi filtered costs 10 times less than branded bottled water. So fill up your water bottle and you have water on the go, as well as at home. With the 5 step filtration system you have water that is perfect for hot or cold drinks. The tank will fill approximately 10 glasses of water. One filter will last one month or 30 days before it needs changing.
Final thoughts
The Lumi chilled filtered water dispenser looks stylish and would be a great addition to your home. It’s really simple to use. My eight year old twin girls are already filling up their own drinks because of the simple one touch activation. It’s so easy for them to do.
I love a nice glass of chilled filtered water and I would highly recommend the Lumi as an addition to your kitchen. It is great value for money.
