Bathroom Makeover Inspiration
I love a good room makeover! Watching the transformation of a room go from drab to fab in a few hours or even in a day or two is pretty amazing, plus it doesn’t need to cost the earth.
Sometimes the simplest of changes is all that is required to turn a previously dull room into a sleek, modern, fresh looking room.
The majority of us spend quite a bit of time in our bathrooms so it’s no wonder that we’d want this room to be both functional and comfortable.
The first thing to do would be to plan what you want your bathroom to look like. Visiting showrooms, browsing the internet and even taking inspiration from your friends and families homes is a good place to start.
Finding out what you want and need is important, but you’ll need to then work out how to turn that into a reality and make it work for you and your family.
Consider the needs of everyone who will be using the bathroom and go from there. Children will probably need more space than adults and you’ll need to make it child proof too.
Some bathroom suites may work better than others. A freestanding bath looks good, but is it practical for children or elderly relatives?
I like to add an over-sized to a bathroom as I think it helps to add light, but also create the illusion of space.
If your bathroom is small, use light colours such as whites and pastels, but maybe have one wall that has a splash of colour.
If your bathroom is large you can experiment more with different colours.
Try to be creative when it comes to storage. Wall units are a clever way to put products out of sight

Great tips. I love blue colour on the walls on the picture and totally agree about the oversized mirror x
