Children and Divorce
When I divorced my first wife, I left behind three children. It was tough, emotional and heartbreaking. I wanted them to know that I wasn’t leaving them, just their mum. It wasn’t their fault and I was so careful to ensure that they knew that. I made every effort to see them and now over ten years later I’m happy to say I have an excellent relationship with them all and I see all a good few times a week.
Recent research commissioned by the family law team at Simpson Millar has given us an insight into the childcare arrangements of divorced families.
