Christmas Day at our Home

December 25, 2015

Christmas Day at our home started at 6.30am. R and M woke up and quickly got their stockings to open them in our bed which was great fun, especially when M opened a £1 Olaf lollipop and said this is the best present I have ever had!

I went downstairs first to film the girls coming into the room to see all their presents and of course Santa’s footprints. Their faces were pictures and R saying Santa’s made a lot of mess. Here is the video if you want to have a look.

Remembering last year the girls took hours to open all their presents, but this year it was all done within 30 minutes! How times change! Watching three year old twins opening their presents really is magical!
The girls shrieked, “Look what Santa has brought me!” every 10 seconds – wonderful times!

This year was a perfect Christmas Day. I couldn’t have wished for a better one. We had a leisurely morning with the girls and loved watching them and also playing with their toys.
At midday I went and picked up my mum for Christmas lunch. We had lunch at about two o’clock, just as we finished lunch my three oldest children turned up making my day complete.

Christmas Day is the one special day of the year. For me I get to spend it with the most important people in my life who I love so very much, my five children,my mum and most importantly my incredible beautiful wife who I love with all heart.
