Christmas Day
The girls woke up at about 6.30am which is about their usual time, so that was good and we all went into the lounge to see if Santa had been.
As they realised that Santa had left all their presents, their little faces were just magical! It was total disbelief and R was saying “oh my goodness!” Worth every penny just for that single moment!
Two hours later we were finally coming to the end of opening their presents!
They ate their weetabix on the move which was a bit unusual!
Now it was time to play with all their presents and that was just me!
We’d started to cook the turkey for lunch at one o’clock, when their nana would arrive with more presents.
Nan arrived at midday and had more presents for R&M. It was cats that moved along the floor and meow. Very cool and the girls loved them!
The girls at different times needed a rest to continue with day in fact M actually got in her cot and said I am resting so very funny.
We all sat down for lunch at 1 o’clock and had a lovely Christmas dinner.
We had more visitors in the afternoon their 2 sisters and brother came around with yet more presents and gave mummy and daddy a rest while they occupied R&M.
The girls were getting very tired by 5 o’clock but I am not surprised it had been such a busy day, but loads of fun but Christmas Day is all about little ones it really is the magic of Christmas for me.
Can’t wait till next year!!
