Christmas Eve
The girls are nearly three years old so they are very aware of Santa and that he brings presents to them on Christmas Eve.
On the morning of Christmas Eve we will be visiting their cousins to give out present’s as we will not have enough time on Christmas Day to do this.
I think the girls are getting very excited even now with four days left to go.
We have got many plans for Christmas Eve, but will try to keep things calm so the girls don’t become hyper!
The wife is going to make homemade apple pie, mince pies and Christmas cookies, which the girls will help her with because they love cooking with mum.
I’m sure the TV will have plenty of Christmas films and programmes for some of the quieter moments during the day.
We’ve got them new pj’s to wear to bed on Christmas Eve and hopefully and they will be asleep by seven o’clock!
Now the fun will start for mummy and daddy!
The most exciting part is getting all their presents ready around the tree, filling their stockings and putting out a cookie, milk and a carrot for Father Christmas and his reindeers.
Finally by 10 o’clock all should be prepared for Christmas morning and we can look forward to watching the magic unfold as two little girls realise Father Christmas has delivered all their presents!
I really can’t wait to see their faces!
