Crafternoon with Jacdo
We were very kindly asked to attend an afternoon of Christmas crafts with Jacdo yesterday.
Jacdo is a craft company which operates a monthly subscription for a box of crafts which is aimed at children two years of age and onwards. The great thing about the the craft boxes is that everything you need is included. It’s priced from £9.99 a month which I think is incredible value.
We arrived as the event was starting and there were three tables laid out with different crafts for the girls to take part in.
The first table was painting and on this table the idea was to create a Christmas wreath. I have to admit I never thought to use a shower scrunchy and cotton wool balls to paint, but amazingly it’s really clever and it gives a really good effect. The scrunchy was used to create the leaves around the edge and the cotton wool balls were used to create the berries. The girls loved it, probably because the messier the better and the scrunchys make very fashionable earings!
The next table was to create a sock snowman and I have to admit this was my favourite activity! Such a simple idea! First cut the sock in half and tie it off with a ribbon. Fill the sock with rice and then tie off the other end about a third of the way down to create a scarf. Then using felt-tip pens draw the eyes and features on and then finally the piece of sock left over makes his ha Stch a brilliant idea and so simple!
The third table was a craft which comes ready made and the girls loved doing this. They were hand puppets. As the girls are not quite four years old they needed some help with the sewing, but they loved putting the stickers on to create a number of Christmas characters.
Before leaving we took a look at all of Jacdo’s products and they have plenty to offer. It’s very appealing to have it delivered to your door.
We had a fantastic time and the girls were given a goody bag that included some different crafts to do at home. I would highly recommend jacdo to subscribe to.
I was under no obligation to write this review and all opinions are 100% mine.

It was fab wasn't it! Although we got to the paint table last & it looked a little bit different then! I think it's great that the boxes are bilingual too. 🙂
