DIY Stair Runner

Is your hallway just not quite hitting the spot? It’s possible to give your staircase a whole new identity in just a day or two!

Stairway runners are a fantastic way to spruce up your stairs, to fit your new home aesthetic. Add a neutral, homely feel with a strip of natural carpet, or introduce your stairs as the new hallway focal point with a splash of paint or some patterned wallpaper to your stair risers.

Plant walls can be created for both indoor and outdoor spaces, and can be made in a multitude of styles and sizes to suit your home. Stick to just greenery for that natural, woodland feel, or add a selection of flowers for colour and texture.

Paint Your Floorboards

Hang New Curtains

Diy jobs don’t have to be a chore. Something as simple as hanging new curtains can completely turn a room around, giving it a brand new feel. There are such a wide variety of curtain styles and materials to choose from you’ll be spoilt for choice. 

Keep it soft and elegant with some sheer white or pastel voiles, letting the natural light in but still allowing for a little home privacy, get fun with a thick, bright material, drawing the eye to your window frames, or go dark with some mysterious blackouts.

Whatever you choose, make sure your curtains are long enough to touch the floor. Short curtains tend to look cheap, and don’t do much for the overall space.
