How to add character to your bedroom
Recently I was employed to fit a wooden ornate headboard to a bedroom.
First I had to fix the wooden blocks to the wall. Once this was done I could could fix the headboard to the wall.
The headboard was sanded and all imperfections removed. Next I undercoated the headboard and then applied two coats of Dulux Quick Drying Satinwood.
To complete the bedroom I painted all of the walls in Forest Green Dulux Art Emulsion (two coats).
This was mixed at a Dulux mix lab in Homebase and as you can see the colour contrast of the two colours really highlights the headboard beautifully making it a wonderful feature.
