I have teamed up with Nuts For Gifts to show everybody how easy it is to make something which is a bit different for a present and adding that personal touch to your gift.

We all so often go to our local shop to buy a present or a card because we either forgot or struggled with time to do something a bit different. The nice thing about something handmade is that I think it says that you care a lot more to make something a little bit different and just take the time for somebody special.

So when Nuts For Gifts contacted me to highlight Nuts in a creative and cool way I jumped at the chance. I have always loved making gifts for people and this was a perfect opportunity for me to get creative.
Nuts For Gifts sent me a kit which had a selection of different materials in such as fabric, string and pens. Using these items I was tasked with making a gift, along with a video of how I made it.
The company behind Nuts for Gifts are the INC (International Nut and Dried Fruit Council). They’re an organisation that leads the world in looking after the global nut and dried fruit industry.
You can find out more information all about health, food safety and nutrition on their website, in addition to government guidelines and really important issues like regulations on trade barriers and agricultural standards of quality
The kit I was sent included all the items I needed to make a special gift which were three boxes of nuts and dried fruit, three different pieces of coloured fabric, three different embroidery threads which were all different colours and a roll of craft tape, string, gift tags and a pack of fabric permanent pens.
So now see what I made by checking out my video below:
