Use a Toy Board Circuit to Demonstrate How Electricity Works

Bring out your old electric toy board circuit and set it up on a table. This is the perfect opportunity to have fun with your kids while teaching them something valuable about electricity!

Begin by explaining what an electric current is and how it works. You can do this in a way that will suit you best: be as detailed or as honest as you want. Then, have your child experiment with the battery clip by plugging in and unplugging a few different things to see how much electricity they use. 

They might be surprised when their light bulb turns off! Next, have them measure how fast the electrons are flowing across this circuit using an ammeter–this will show them the amps of electricity.

Parents can’t afford to be the strict parents of yesteryear. So, modern parents ensure you teach your children about energy conservancy in a better way. This will help to alleviate some of their anxieties and fears about the future while at the same time letting them learn how to be more self-sufficient in the future.
