Organising My Garage With Rhino Racking

March 2, 2023

We moved into our new home about eighteen months ago and of course when you move into a new home we all have a habit of storing some of belongings in the garage. I am totally guilty of this and unfortunately I have been adding to this and it has got to the point where it’s actually difficult to get into the garage let alone find anything I want.

The time has come to organise my garage and de-clutter it so when I go in my garage I can actually find what I want and it won’t take an hour before I leave frustrated because I haven’t found it.

The first decision was to decide exactly how I wanted to organise the garage. I decided I wanted shelving down either side of the garage.

It was time time to go on the internet and do some research. While browsing I came across Rhino Racking. What they had was going to be perfect to organise my garage.

Rhino Racking is one the largest suppliers of racking and shelving in the UK. Rhino Racking are based in Durham and since 2017 they have been supplying storage solutions for people’s homes, garages and businesses all over the UK.

They have a very extensive range of shelving units and also sell trolleys and trucks so you can move heavier items around your garage or stockroom if you are a business.

What I was looking to do was create shelving units down either side of the garage so I could organise everything in its place and keep, for instance, gardening stuff together and tools together and so on.

I was sent two types of unit: three of one size and one slightly smaller.

1. 180 x 120 x 60cm | Blue | 5 Tier Boltless Heavy Duty Garage Shelving Unit | 1000kg Load Weight RRP £67.99

This is larger of the shelving units and comes in blue and has five tiers.

The shelving unit is boltless and I admit was really simple to make. You create the sides of the shelving unit first and gradually start making the shelves. It just clicks together and it helps to just tap with a rubber mallet to make sure it’s firmly in place. The instruction manual is really easy to follow.

2. 180 x 90 x 60cm | Blue | 5 Tier Boltless Heavy Duty Garage Shelving Unit | 1000kg Load Weight RRP £59.99

This is the slightly smaller shelving unit but is exactly the same to construct as the larger shelving unit. It also comes in blue.

My Thoughts

Rhino Racking have produced a very simple way to make shelving units. I particularly liked the fact that they don’t require any grub screws or  bolts to fix together as this meant I didn’t need a spanner or screwdriver, just a rubber mallet to make sure the units were secured properly.

The structure of the shelving unit was strong and very sturdy. It was capable of taking quite a bit of weight, in fact up to 1000kg which is more than enough for most peoples garages. They also come with brackets so you can fix the shelving unit to the wall. This is something I would recommend, especially if your garage floor is uneven as mine is. It is now a pleasure to go into my garage find what I want easily and that is thanks to Rhino Racking Shelving units.

Rhino Racking shelving units are a top quality product that I would instantly give them five stars and highly recommend them if you are looking for shelving units for your garage. They are well made, easy to assemble and very practical for storing everything in your garage. What more can you ask for!

This is a paid collaboration and I was gifted four shelving units for the purpose of this review. All thoughts and opinions are 100% mine.
