Fisher-Price Shimmer & Shine Teenie Genies Floating Palace Playset Review

September 20, 2017

Being the child of a blogger is pretty awesome at times. Especially when you’re a big fan of Shimmer & Shine, and your blogging dad gets sent this super cool Shimmer & Shine Teenie Genies Floating Palace Playset for you to test out!

Yes, being five years old is amazing at times!

Available online for just £29.99 this Shimmer & Shine Playset comes with Shimmer & Shine Teenie Genies, as well as two beds, a table, bath and chair. Aimed at children 3 years and over. (Price correct at time of publication RRP £32.99)

When you put one of the genies in the chair and place the chair in front of the pink gem something magical happens! Pull down the palace’s pink pillow, and watch as Shimmer and Shine magically float up!

Turn the gem on the top of the palace’s pillow to see Leah or Princess Samira appear in the magic mirror.

You can also open the gem on top to hide the genies in it, plus there’s a purple magic carpet that both genies can float on together!

There are various different places on this playset that the genies can sit. They have a small hole under them that means you can pop onto the plastic bits that poke up and they’ll stay in place!

What’s even more fun, is that there are over 130 Teenie Genies to collect! (Each sold separately).

This playset is not only magical, it’s also brightly coloured and has lots of appealing features to children such as the gem that opens and turns, the purple magic carpet that can spin around, the pink pillow lever that can be pulled down for the genies to magically float up, plus the beds that the genies fit nicely into and the table and bath too! All of these things make playing with this set lots of fun for children.

As you can see from the pictures above our twins had lots of fun playing with it! There are so many possibilities of various role play scenarios that they can act out!

Overall, a great playset that’s fun and great value for money!

For the purpose of this review I was sent the above playset. All views and opinions are 100% my own .
