Staining exterior wood panels and sheds
I was recently asked to stain wood panels to the front of a house, a garage door and a shed.
It has been some time since the wood had been treated with stain.
The first part of the job was to remove any loose material and make sure everything is clean and dry.
I decided to use Ronseal One Coat Stain and the customer wanted Red Cedar as the colour as this was what was previously used. The Ronseal One Coat does exactly what is says on the tin and the coverage is excellent so I applied one coat to all the areas required. It took 10L of stain.
The customer also asked me to paint three stone pots in terracotta. I prepared the pots by cleaning and removing any loose paint and then painted in masonary paint using Homebase own brand. Two coats was required for this.
