Ty Hafan's Precious Moments Campaign
My wife and I are delighted to share with you the news that we’ve been asked by Ty Hafan to become blogger ambassadors for them.
Ty Hafan is one of the UK’s leading paediatric palliative care charities and offers care to children and support for their families, throughout Wales.
The work that they do is vitally important to both the children they look after, but also to their parents and family members.
Ty Hafan offer comfort, care and support to life-limited children, young people and their families in the hospice, in the community and in their home so they can make the most of the time they have left together.
The Precious Moments Campaign was launched earlier this month and the idea is to create, share and celebrate as many precious moments as possible this festive season. Throughout November and December Ty Hafan would like people to share their own precious moments. You can do this by sharing a picture or by telling us the story of your precious moments. The idea is to spread the word across social media.
Each Monday, Ty Hafan will be launching a new word that links to the word ‘Precious’ so my wife and I will be sharing what that word means to us.
This week’s word is exciting and I’m excited because our girls wrote their Christmas lists to Santa and in addition to listing the usual presents they’d like for Christmas, the last thing they wished for was to see their two older sisters, older brother and their nana on Christmas day which made me feel very proud, but also excited that they were thinking of others at this time of year.
Ty Hafan have asked my wife and I to join them on November 27th in their hospice so that we can get a first hand look around to see all of the hard work that they do.

Such an important campaign for us all to be involved in. I can't even imagine how it must feel for the families. Just heartbreaking.
