Wearable Books – Book-O-Beards & Book-O-Masks plus DC SuperheroesOrigami Book Review

Sometimes knowing what to buy children for Christmas can be tough. Factors such as their age, likes, dislikes and not knowing what toys they already have can make gift buying stressful.

However, what if you were to get them something unique? Have you heard of wearable books yet? That’s right a book that you can actually wear! They’d make the perfect Christmas gift for children of all ages.

I was recently sent two wearable books to review. Book-O-Beards and Book-O-Masks. Both books are innovative, unique and also lots of fun for the whole family. They’re unlike anything I have ever seen before and they’re quite unusual!

The idea of actually wearing a book is silly, fun and calls for lots of friends and family to get involved!

Book-O-Beards and Book-O-Masks brought to you by Lemke and Lentz is a colourful, beautifully illustrated book that answers the question many of us think about, what would I look like with a beard or with a superhero mask?!

These two interactive board books allow for make-believe games and hilarious snapshot moments. The catchy rhymes that accompany the books such as help to bring this innovative concept to life. Simply hold the book up and become a lumberjack, a pirate, a ninja, a sailor or even Father Christmas! The fun is endless!

These books are really great quality and I can see them becoming very popular!

Moving on now and the next book I was sent was DC Superheroes Origami book. I was a little unsure of this book before it arrived, but have to say that I absolutely love it!

It’s a pretty chunky book, but I guess it has to be in order for it to include all of the step-by-step instructions in order to create the various pieces inside.

You’ll find Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and the Justice League inside. With clear step-by-step diagrams and instructions, plus full colour photos of all finished models, it’s actually really easy to make them.

The DC Superheroes Origami book shows you how to transform simple squares of paper into Batarangs, S-Shields, Invisible Jets, Green Lanterns, Jumpa the Kanga, and so much more.

Here’s one I’m sure my wife would like!

I’m very impressed with all three books and would highly recommend them all!
