Why are so many things difficult
It never ceases to amaze me how difficult it is to get things done with three old twins!
It starts for me first thing in the morning. I’ll ask the girls if they want breakfast And I’ll get a chorus of replies of “No, not yet!” When I finally convince them I have to sit in the middle and make up absurd games so they eat their cereal!
We have always bathed them first thing in the morning. Again it’s about picking your moment just right, but believe me I always get it wrong! I always get 15 minutes of no before they finally say yes!
It is always full on, especially with twins. One minute one wants attention because they are a little unhappy, as you start the other one starts! Not a lot of time for us.
The joys of having twins will always outweigh the negatives because they constantly make you laugh, smile and just have a good time!
So, when they are difficult, argumentative, taking forever to get ready to go out, won’t leave the park when asked too, I try to think how much happiness they give me. It doesn’t always work I might add, but generally it helps me deal with any situation.
I will say that we have been blessed with two little girls that are so well behaved whenever we go with them we can literally I believe take them anywhere. It seems that the moments of bad behaviour are saved for at home with us!

My twin daughters are now 20 years of age and I remember this phase well. It's as though they're conspiring against you to actually leave the house on time ever! But as you've said the positives far outweigh any negativity.
Enjoy your daughters while they're still so cute x

It's tough with one near 3 year old I can't imagine how you feel having 2! They test your patience at times!
