Listen and Discover with Pooh – Review

October 13, 2015

For as long as I can remember Winnie the Pooh has always been a firm favourite with our twins. We have a couple of the books and even some 3D Winnie the Pooh box art frames in our playroom.

He’s such a loveable character and it’s not hard to see why. His friendly face, bright yellow body and distinctive voice are all very appealing to both children and adults!

TOMY recently sent us a Listen and Discover with Pooh toy to review.

The thing that I love about this toy is that you actually get two toys for the price of one! The cuddly Pooh Bear character can be cuddled on his own, but you can also attach the special soft-touch book to his paw by plugging it in and watch the magic of story telling come to life!

With his arms wide open it’s hard to resist giving Winnie the Pooh a big cuddle!

The enchanting ‘Hide n Seek’ story comes alive on each page, listen as Pooh chats away and says over 30 different phrases!

The book is soft to touch, plus it features of number of different textiles and sounds. It’s colourful and also encompasses the children’s favourite ‘peek-a-boo’ game as children have to lift up the bush to reveal Tigger underneath!

At bedtime, Pooh loves to snuggle and will play soothing lullabies. There are five lullabies in total. Listen and Discover with Pooh is suitable for children aged 10 months and over.

I really like that the book can be detached as it can be taken anywhere with you – in the pushchair, car, play group or on holiday. There’s also a hook on the book so it can be attached to a pushchair or highchair.

Overall the Listen and Discover with Pooh toy is a lovely toy. It’s durable, cuddly and I love the various functions available such as the lullabies and story telling.

For the purpose of this review we were sent one Listen and Discover with Pooh. All views and opinions are 100% my own.
