WOW Toys Tow Truck Tim Review & Competition!

Tow Truck Tim has been called out to pick up Rolling Ray; he always get in trouble around WOW Town and it’s Tow Truck Tim that has to go and pick him up!

I love that this toy comes with a colourful cardboard play scene. Children can use them as backdrops to their adventures and come up with all sorts of exciting and fun scenarios!

Included in the box you’ll find:

• 1x Motorised truck called Tim
• 1 x Detachable trailer with car winch
• 1 x Car called Ray
• 1 x Girl mechanic figure called Meena
• 1 x Boy driver figure called Ben

The tow truck can be split into two parts. The front driver part and the rear trailer part. Fitting them together is easy and simple, so children won’t struggle doing this themselves.

This toy has lots of different functions including:

• Friction-powered motor
• Pull and release motor
• Realistic engine sounds
• Click opening tailgate
• Pull out and wind in sounds
• Detachable trailer
• Red button launches car by lifting panels underneath
• Green button winds car up
• Pull out magnetic hook
• Windscreen opens on car and truck
• Opening tailgate
• Push along car
• Moving wheels for easy push-along play

As mentioned above the windscreens on both cars open up so that Meena and Ben can be placed inside for additional fun play!

My favourite thing about this toy is that it has a magnetic winch which connects to not only the car included in this set, but all WOW cars. The magnetic winch, once connected to the car will automatically pull the car up the ramp!

When Ray, the car, is ready to go again, children can drop down the tailgate by pressing the red button to launch him back on his way!

As well as being lots of fun for children to play with this toy also helps with sensory stimulation and motor skill development. From two years of age it helps with discovery and learning and from two and a half years age it can also help with social interaction. For children aged three and over this toy can help improve skills such as role play and exploration.

I have to say that I really do love this toy. I can’t recommend it enough! It’s fun, durable and I love all of the different features and functions!
