London is one of the most vape-friendly cities in Europe. Most of the owners and managers that we spoke to were approachable, knowledgeable, and passionate about their businesses and were positively embracing the benefits of moving from cigarettes to e-cigarettes.

So, if you’re looking for some outstanding new vaping experiences in London, check out these 12 great vape spots.

1. The Rake, 14A Winchester Walk, London SE1 9AG

Converted from a café, this was originally opened up as a shop-window for Utobeer’s products but quickly morphed into this small, trendy beer bar. This bar, often referred to as the smallest in London, boasts a range of up to 130 beers at a time. If the selection daunts you, just ask one of the friendly, knowledgeable staff who will be happy to point you in the right direction.

2.Vista at The Trafalgar, Trafalgar Hotel, London SW1A 2TS

This swanky rooftop restaurant with its panoramic views directly over Trafalgar Square is a must-try for any vaper. Situated on the roof of the Trafalgar Hotel, it is open to non-residents. Although a bit pricey, the view makes up for it, and their Mediterranean styled menu offers some unique dishes. Reservations are essential during peak periods.

3.Cloud Inc. Vapes, 321 Portobello Road, London WS10 5SY

Located in a trendy part of Notting Hill, Cloud Inc. Vapes can only be described as a petite, local chill-shop serving some of the best coffee around. Inside, the social-centric café combines the café scene with vaping, and they even sell a great selection of vapes. The friendly and helpful staff will go out of their way to make you feel like you’re at home.

4.The Jugged Hare, 172 Vauxhall Bridge Road, Victoria, London, SW1V 1DX

Built in the 1800s for National Westminster Bank, The Jugged Hare occupies a prime position in the area of Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. This traditional London pub takes its name from a historic British dish where the hare is hung and then slowly cooked in an earthenware pot. Fortunately for us, they’ve extended their menu to include a mouth-watering choice of home-cooked foods and traditional ales.

5.The Canvas Café, 42 Hanbury Street, London E1 5JL

Dubbed as a community hub, this vegetarian-friendly community space between Bethnal Green and Whitechapel is a little oasis of peace and quiet; you’d never guess you were so close to all the crowds. The café has multiple spaces including an equipped meeting room in the basement. They offer a simple, free-range selection of cakes, sandwiches, salads, and refreshments. They’re open late and even serve beers and wines.

6. The Century Club, 91-63 Shaftsbury Avenue, Westminster, London W1D 8LQ

The CC boasts one of the best roof-top terraces in London, most certainly in Soho. It’s a private club, so you’ll need to source an invite to sample its ambience. We’ve heard wowing reviews over its service, the great clientele, and its chilled atmosphere. The club is both a bar and a restaurant and has numerous rooms each with their own individual feel. However, the pièce de résistance is indubitably its rooftop terrace with its sliding glass roof, which when closed almost makes you feel guilty as you smoke or vape!

7.Boisdale of Belgravia, 15 Eccleston Street, London SW1W 9LX

This chic, gastro-pub serves traditional Scottish food in a lively atmosphere in Belgravia. The Boisdale pub/restaurant offers live Jazz or Blues music most nights (might that be Scottish Jazz?) and the trendy clientele almost seem to complement its Scottish décor. One of its main highlights, we feel, is that it has its own cigar terrace and they positively encourage you to use it. They offer private dining options and are renowned for their whiskey collection.

8.Brewdog,113 Bayham St, Camden, London NW1 0AG

Just a couple of blocks from Camden Town Underground, this indie-styled bar offers something quite unique. Based over two floors, the drinks selection and quality outshine many of the other bars in the area; craft beers and ciders abound. Good service and a warm welcome seem to be the vibe, and they offer a menu of burgers, hot dogs, and wings to match your beer selection.

9.The Florence, Herne Hill, 131-133 Dulwich Rd, Herne Hill, London SE24 0NG

If you’re south of the river and food is more your thing, head to the Herne Hill area. The Florence serves modern British food and drink in a relaxed atmosphere. One of the highlights is the pub’s own microbrewery which has a range of beers to sample on tap. A family-friendly pub with a good crowd.

10.       Cargo, 83 Rivington Street, London EC2A 3AY

If you’re looking for a clubbing night, look no further than Cargo in Shoreditch. With great soundtracks and a selection of street food, this club is an ever-popular place with its eclectic crowd. The open-air, canopied courtyard simply throbs to the variety of themed events which Cargo put on.

11.       Ziferblat, 388 Old Street, London EC1V 9LT

In Ziferblat everything is free except the time you spend there. Customers pay by the hour for an almost unlimited supply of coffee and cakes. Their emphasis here is on spending quality time with friends; board games, Wi-Fi, musical instruments, work and social space. A great place to meet, greet, chat and chill. Truly unique.

12.       And finally… London’s Parks

Despite London’s mayor’s best efforts, it is still legal to vape in the city’s parks. Our opinion is there is no better combination of enjoying the outdoor experience of a rural park combined with a relaxing vape with friends. Our two favourites are St. James’s Park and Hampstead Heath. Both are large enough to find a spot which feels like you are ‘away from it all’ despite them both benefitting from being centrally located.
