5 Blogs to check out in 2016

So I decided I would list my five top blogs that I read almost everyday last year and which I think should be read next year. There is no particular order. 

1. The first blog that I probably read every day is Dad Blog UK which is written by John. I love his writing. The subject matter can often be controversial which makes it a very interesting read. He has a lovely mix of natural content and reviews. His reviews are always in depth and very honest. Also being a stay at home dad, it’s fascinating to read a dads view on on what is still a mum dominated world in regard to school and other such topics etc. Being a blogger myself I aspire to be half as a good as John. 

2. The second blog is Inside Martyn’s Thoughts which is written by Martyn. Martyn is also a stay at home dad and he home schools his two boys. His writing is exceptional whether it’s about home schooling, cooking and sometimes very personal posts that can be difficult to read let alone write. In 2015 Martyn wrote my favourite post of the year which moved me to tears. Again he is somebody that inspires me to be a better blogger and writer. 

3. The third on my list is Run Jump Scrap which his written by Sarah. I discovered Sarah’s blog about nine months ago and have loved reading every post. They are always witty and never cease to put a smile on my face when I read about the adventures of her little gremlin, but there can also be a serious post thrown in the mix. In particular about the loss of her grandma which brought tears to my eyes. 

4. The fourth blogger is Stop Banging Blog and I literally only came across this blog just before Christmas when I read a post called, ‘From Whore to Bore’. I have never laughed so much! It’s very close to the knuckle and probably goes over the line at times, but it’s totally hysterical! I was left wanting to read more so I think I read everything she has written since and I was not disappointed. This is definitely one to watch for 2016. Easily one of the funniest bloggers out there. 

5. Finally the person I could not leave out of this list is my wife Emily who blogs at Twin Mummy and Daddy. Emily is the reason I started blogging. Her dedication and hard work is something that I am constantly in awe of at times. I think she must have a thousand ideas going around in her mind, all at one time. Her attention to detail is bonkers and it always has to be exactly right hence why her blog is so successful. I have never read a bad post by her. She gives 110% to make her blog the best it can be. Emily has always had time to help me on my blog when I’m not sure of something. This is even when she has spent the last to hours working on hers, which I’m so grateful for.

I have of course read many blogs in last 12 months, but these five stand out for me. Check them out!
