[AD] Desenio Prints And Posters Review

There is one thing that I love doing in our home and that’s hanging pictures, For me it totally transforms a room and makes a house a home. It’s when you personalise it with your own tastes using those little accessories such as picture frames that really makes it your own.

So recently when I was approached by Desenio to review their wall art website, I couldn’t wait to sample their art prints and frames to add a new dimension to our lounge.

Our lounge is very large. It runs the whole length of the house and this is divided into basically three areas. The end of the room looks out into the garden and we use this space as a dining area.

To the front of the lounge we have a large sofa where we all tend to sit to watch television. We have a smaller sofa which is in the middle of the room. This is a place where we tend to sit if we are reading, or in my wife’s case where she does her crocheting. This is the area of the lounge that was desperately needing some improvement. It was just a blank wall above the sofa and I wanted add something in the way of wall art that will add sophistication and style.

It’s a white wall and I decided I wanted to go with black and white photos in black frames as I felt this was in keeping with what this area is used for such as reading.

So what did I pick?

As I have said, I went with black and white photos in a black frame. First up, I went with a classic look called couture. I also selected palm trees on a beach and a peace sign because the world we live in nowadays could definitely do with a bit more peace. I wanted the wall art to make an impression so when somebody walks into the room they stand out and hopefully friends and family are captivated by the images. For that reason the size of the prints I chose were 50x70cm and priced at £23.95 and £24.95 for couture. I chose black frames to keep the theme going which cost £26.95 each.

The process of choosing and ordering the prints was really simple. The only problem I faced was that as Desenio have such a vast selection it was difficult to narrow it down to just a few prints as there were so many that I liked. Once I had chosen, paying was really simple and I arranged for delivery to be made to a pick-up point near to where I live and they arrived within 5 days of me placing my order.

Once I had my new wall art at home I couldn’t wait to open them and hang them in my lounge. Putting the posters into the frames was really easy with clips to hold your chosen picture in the frame. The frames were excellent quality and they even had a protective cover on the Perspex to make your wall art looks it’s best. Hanging them was really easy with hooks on the backing of the frame to secure to your picture hook. Again it was a very simple process.

My new wall art is now hung in our lounge and it has completely transformed that area of our lounge and I absolutely love them. They mirror my personality and character and for me I think they look stunning in black and white.
