[AD] Going On A Staycation This Summer In A Motorhome

Finally in the UK restrictions are starting to be lifted albeit slowly. However, lockdown is slowly becoming a thing of the past and as society starts to open up this spring and we have more freedom, normality will start to resume to something resembling pre-covid. This all means we can finally start to think about having a summer holiday in the UK or as it is more commonly known, a staycation. 

As a family our favourite holidays have always been the holidays that we have taken in the UK. One of our favourite holidays has always been a camping trip. They’re great fun but the down side has always been that once you are on your chosen site it generally means you are stuck on that camping site purely because pitching your tent and then taking it down to move on is quite an effort. 

So the other day I was thinking what would be my dream type of staycation. I instantly thought about a motorhome. It would be a perfect solution as we’d have the freedom to move from camping site to camping site easily.

The Adamo Motorhome Range

The Adamo is a fantastic motorhome range for all your adventures. It’s smart and very stylish and has three endlessly flexible layouts and they all come with a garage for storing all your adventure equipment like bikes, wetsuits and beach equipment. 

Main Features of the Adamo Motorhome Range

There are three motorhomes in the Adamo range – the 69-4 and 75-4I which sleep up to four people, and the 75-4DL that also sleeps up to four but can be increased to six or eight with additional bed packs. All the models in the range come with four travel seats. This is particularly important for us as a family of four. 

All the Adamo motorhomes have an external garage space for storage which is perfect for us, because as a family we love to cycle and having room to store our bikes is a real bonus.

‘In the front of the 69-4 and in the front and rear of the 75-4DL layouts, the Adamo has electric powered dropdown beds above the seating areas. This means that the living space becomes so much more flexible, and you can make your bed up in the morning and push a button to hide the whole thing! This is without a doubt a feature I would like to have and is easily my favourite part of the Adamo range. 

We have been known on occasion to travel to out of the way areas, and quite often we don’t have an electric hook up, but that wouldn’t be a problem with the Adamo motorhome from Bailey of Bristol. It comes with an 80 watt solar panel for all your power needs. 

It’s a Ford Chassis and Cab and has automatic transmission which would make driving so much easier. 

You’re not limited to just summer vacations as it has a Truma combi 4E heating system and storage for two refillable gas bottles. This is perfect for trips in autumn when the temperatures are a bit lower.

I love to cook when on holidays and there will be no problem with the Adamo. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen which includes a combined oven, grill and hob with 3 gas burners and an electric hotplate, and a large round kitchen sink with a mixer tap. This all means I will be able to cook some fantastic meals while on our holidays. 

Alu Tech

All of Bailey of Bristol motorhomes are constructed using Alu Tech. Alu-Tech is a completely new approach to body construction. Using a unique interlocking aluminium framework, Bailey constructed a shell that was more robust and durable. This will make your motorhome more capable of dealing with the elements which is very useful when you’re holidaying in the unpredictable British weather.
