Bedtime story

Every night R and M cuddle up to their Mummy on one bed and she reads them a bedtime story. It’s fascinating to watch them both. They are very quiet and totally engrossed in the story. They never take their eyes off the book.

It’s so important in this technological age we live in that the girls learn the joy of the written word and that they embrace the feel of real books. Just recently we had vouchers from the girls school for World Book Day and the girls picked books for themselves. 

Nowadays it’s so easy to turn on the television or give your children an iPad to keep them occupied, but it takes just a little bit of your time to sit down and interact with them and reading a book is the perfect way to this.
