Blog love is so important so lets share!

August 26, 2016

Recently I’ve noticed that it’s really difficult for new bloggers to get help and support from the more established bloggers, which is something I really don’t understand.

Blogging for me is a community, which is what I enjoy the most. I have met some incredible people on-line and in person, and along with being fantastic bloggers, they are really lovely people too.
I believe I have been very fortunate to have been supported by some fantastic bloggers which has enabled me to achieve more with my blog than I ever thought possible.
For that reason I feel that it’s a responsibility of mine to support and encourage new bloggers now that I am more established, and in truth I love doing it. I love finding new blogs, it’s exciting to find a blog that sends me on an emotional rollercoaster or informs me on a subject that interests me. It’s one of the reasons why I love running a linky with my wife. Reading and finding great posts is always a thrill.
So I thought I would highlight my four favourite new blogs that have recently been drawn to my attention. They are in no particular order!

The first blog I am going to mention is Potty Adventures. It’s written by David Mellor and what I love about his blog is that first of all, he has a very unusual niche in the blogging world. He has brilliantly combined camping, festivals and children, as well as parenting. His posts are always very informative and extremely well written. He always finds some awesome places to camp around where he lives and his photography is truly amazing. Take a look you will not be disappointed. (Twitter: @pottyadventures)
My second new blogger is David shaul and he blogs Dad v World.. His writing style is fantastic and his posts are always engaging with a lovely touch of humour added in that he writes with so much love for his family. He has embraced the blogging community and always makes an effort to engage with other bloggers. He also vlogs and does Facebook Live. This is also somebody you should check out! (Twitter: @dadvworld)
My third blog is The Frenchie Mummy.. It’s written by the truly brilliant writer, Cecile. She writes honest posts across a wide spectrum of topics. Her writing is funny, emotional and serious. The signs of a very talented writer. I have been lucky enough to get to know Cecile and she is a lovely person and I think she is a blogger we could all be talking about in the not too distant future. (Twitter: @frenchiemummy)

Finally my last featured blog is  The Outdoor Dad, which is written by Oli. Now he’s not a prolific blogger, but when he posts they are truly fantastic and incredibly well written. I for one always look forward to his new posts. They are parenting/baby related and always bring a smile to my face. (Twitter: @outdoordaduk)
So there you go! I think all four of these blogs will have a big future. If you get a minute you should check them out and definitly follow them on their social media channels!

Thanks Nige – some great new blogs to follow. Dipping in and out of blogging as a hobby i still find the whole world, magical, daunting and fascinating. Its an eco system that seems to draw me in more and more. Its great you are helping to encourage and support – Being invited to be part of the Brilliant Dad Feature was one of the ways you encouraged me!

Great suggestions there Nigel. You are correct Nigel, us established bloggers should help the less experienced ones. I confess it's not something I have always been very good at just because I am so busy, but I do try to make a greater effort these days. Thanks for hosting #BinkyLinky

As a new blogger, I agree that it's hard to find establised bloggers who are willing to offer guidance. I think it's probably due to the fact that blogging takes up so much time and that there are so many bloggers out there that it's just about impossible to get noticed. #binkylinky

I'm definitely not established but I always love to share ideas with anyone and everyone. Experienced or brand new, everyone is just another person to me that I can take advice from or share advice with. I've been helped by some fantastic people in the blogging world, especially Nigel! #BinkyLinky

As a new blogger myself I find it hard too to get connected with some bloggers (a lot of them will follow you on twitter and then when you follow them they unfollow you) I think it can be quite dog eat dog with some bloggers but on the flip side I have also had a lot of supportive bloggers get in touch too which is nice #binkylinky
