Bluestone Wales day 3
A much better nights sleep last night.
Girls were exhausted from everything they had done the day before so slept very soundly.
We woke at about 7 o’clock, the girls had breakfast and a shower then we were ready to go swimming.
We all went out to the buggy. It had rained quite heavily during the night so the buggy was soaking wet and the last thing on my mind was if the roof would have water on it.
As I drove off all the water came off and soaked my wife and the girls! I shouldn’t laugh, but it was funny!
So off to the blue lagoon we went and we spent about one and a half hours in the pool.
The girls loved it and we met another blogger, Hannah from budding smiles and her family in the pool. It was really nice to put faces to other bloggers.
After swimming we went back to our lodge for lunch and a little rest before the afternoons activity.
Around one o’clock we made our way to Camp Smokey to meet Huwie the Hedgehog.
We had a good long walk along the nature trail which the girls loved because the trail had lots of puddles to splash in which they thoroughly enjoyed.
We walked back to camp smokey where Huwie the Hedgehog was waiting with his helper.
First of all the children played hide and seek with Huwie and they loved it!
Then we went on to play different games such as making a wish potion which involved collecting different things in the forest – girls loved that.
We made a den and finally made a raft out of bark to go down the stream. Daddy enjoyed that bit!
The afternoon was brilliant and the girls had a fantastic time.
We came back to the lodge to change and warm up a bit, then went off to have tea at the Wild Wood Cafe.
The girls then had a little play on the bouncy castle, but I think mummy likes the bouncy castle more!
Finally we went to the Granary where there were games, singing and entertainment for the girls.
A very busy day and the girls are totally shattered meaning that they were asleep before 7 o’clock!
