Twins and their different personalities
I always thought – naively I suppose – that having twins would mean that they would be very similar in character and personality. Now thinking about it though my wife is a twin and she and her sister are very opposite.
R is the older of our girls and she has a more demanding and definite character. There is no grey area with her. It’s either black or white. She’s very strong willed and is difficult at times to coax her to get things that you want her to do, but I have to say she is probably the more loving of the girls as she’s always ready for a kiss and cuddle.
M is more laid back about life and can easily be convinced to get to do things that you want done. She without a doubt lets things go over her head. She is more shy when amongst strangers which isn’t a bad thing. In her own environment she is very extroverted whereas in company she can be quieter.
So amazingly to me even though the girls are not quite three years old, their characters and personalities are starting to take shape and it is awesome to watch giving us hours of fun just watching and listening to them develop.
