Bluestone Wales Day Two

January 27, 2015

We all had a good nights sleep and woke at 7 o’clock. We had breakfast, the girls had a bath which was cool for them as  we don’t have a bath at home, just a shower, and then we got ready to go to the swimming complex called the Blue Lagoon.

So we all got on the buggy which the girls get very excited about to drive to the Blue Lagoon. This took about 10 minutes so I am glad we hired a buggy otherwise we would have ended up carrying the girls.

We got in the blue lagoon and our tickets were validated for the week. Once we had changed and were in the pool area I was really impressed.
There are lots of areas for little ones and the water was very warm.
The girls had a fantastic time. So much so that we all lost track of the time.
My wife and I both went on the water slides which were quite good.
The girls particulary liked the lazy river.
Then we went back to our lodge for lunch.
After we had finished lunch we went to the village as the girls had some money from their nana so they bought themselves a baby doll each. We looked in all the shops. It was small but very adequate.
We then had a little play at the swings and slides. I think my wife enjoyed it the most!
Unfortunately it started to rain so we moved onto the adventure Centre.
We arrived at the adventure centre which has soft play room and the girls loved it.
We had a go on the bouncy castle and stayed about an hour.

Finally today we made our way back to the Knights Tafernfor tea.

Food was lovely allthough as usual like a lot of places the drinks are over priced.

We arrived back at our lodge at about 5o’clock and as it has been such a busy day we decided to have an early night.

Day two has been great. Full of fun packed things to do and we have all had a fab time. I would highly recommend Bluestone for a family holiday.
