I have five year old twin girls and they always love to get out and about and one the many ways they like to go the park or just generally out and about is by using their bikes or scooters unfortunately their bikes have stabilisers and we so often we end up pushing them along because their pedal power is not the best so when we were recently sent a Chicco Cross Runner Balance Bike for review I thought this is just right for them. And hopefully get them away from stabilisers and onto two wheels. Where freedom of the roads awaits well maybe pavements at five years old.
The Balance Bike is excellent at getting your child to balance themselves on two wheels of course it has no pedals and once they are used to going along on two wheels. They can move on to riding with pedals which is what all children want to achieve. And of course mum’s and dads do to so we are not bent over pushing them and end up with aching backs.
The Chicco cross Runner Balance Bike is a 12 inch frame it has an adjustable seat very useful as they grow it’s design is sporty and modern and is made of metal. R loves the colour and design it suits her perfectly.

My wife was sent the Chicco Pink Arrow Balance Bike for review which suited M because I think she thinks she is a princess. You can read her review on Twin Mummy and Daddy here.

Always remember your child should always wear protective equipment and a helmet and be supervised at all times by an adult. The Balance Bike should never used be used in traffic.
The Chicco Cross Runner Balance Bike costs approximately £50.00 and can be purchase from many high street retailers.
For the purpose of this review I was gifted a Chicco Balance Bike all views and opinions are 100% mine.

looks great. We took the training wheels off last fall and it didn’t go very well. Can’t wait for warm weather to go out and try again
