My Son is 18 Years Old Today 

I have five children and now three of them are fully grown adults able to do all those things legally. This is one strange feeling. The years seem to fly past. Omg ! I’m getting old, haha! 

Today is my son A’s birthday and he is 18 years old if was able to go and pick my son at birth and know what sort of adult he would grow up to be I would of easily picked my son A. He is to me perfect in every way. 

It doesn’t seem like yesterday that he was lying in my arms as a baby about to go to sleep and he would twirl my hair around his fingers as some sort of comfort. While he drifted off to sleep. When I think about those times it always brings a lump to my throat. 

My son is 18 years old and I couldn’t wish for a nicer well rounded loving son. He is easy going always willing to help. He is quiet and is rarely in a bad mood I’m sure the teen years of temperant bypassed him completely. You are demanding and always go with the flow of life and nothing seems to faze you. So often you the calm person in what can be a chaotic life. 

He has wonderful relationships with his four sisters and his five year old twin sisters idolise him for me when I see him together with all his sisters it makes me proud and gives me goosebumps knowing how much they all love him. 

Every Saturday he goes to my elderly mum’s (his nana) house to clean for her he never moans about it is always on time and never lets her down. For an 18 year old in today’s world I think that’s special. 

Now you are 18 years old your life truly changes the world is at your feet and you  will be able to achieve and succeed in anything you want to do. You are hugely talented and very intelligent, you are perfectionist which is something that shines through in your school work and I just know that one day the world could well be reading all about you. 

I am so proud to call you my son my love for you has no limits and I wish you a very Happy Birthday on this your 18th birthday.
