Christmas Eve in Our Home
Now that our twins are four years old, they’re able to work out exactly how many days it is to Christmas. The countdown, as you can imagine, has been in full swing for quite a while! Of course the advent calendars the girls have, have encouraged them to countdown the days, but that’s not a bad thing and of course the excitement levels continue to increase as Christmas Day gets closer.

Christmas Eve this year is going to be a busy day for the family in general. We are visiting my wife’s sister and her family on the morning of Christmas Eve to swap presents and have a little get together, as we’re unable to do this on Christmas Day. In the afternoon we will be seeeing my family and of course start preparing for the most exciting day in the calendar year.
I love having grown up children, but to be blessed with four year old twins who still believe in Father Christmas is magical! Seing their faces on Christmas morning is always an amazing moment, especially as mummy and daddy have been up to their old tricks making sure the belief is real for them.

Putting up the stockings up, along with the presents under the tree and a plate of drink and food for Santa on the fireplace. The final touch being fake snow footprints across the carpet and the girls believing it’s snow from the North Pole. That is priceless!
Christmas Day is a day when we will be at home so the girls will have plenty of time to open and play with their new toys, and my mum, their Nanna, will be around for Christmas dinner, and all of my children will be together for maybe only a couple of hours all in the same room during the afternoon.
It really is what Christmas is about for me. FAMILY. I will be with the most precious people in my life, the people that fill my heart with joy and happiness and who I love so very much. They complete me as a husband, dad and son.

Happy Christmas to my beautiful wife, Emily, my wonderful children Jodie, Emily, Adam, Ruby and Maisie and my fantastic Mum.
Love you lots xxxx
