Cleaning the car with Twins

June 18, 2016

I have recently teamed up with Halfords and they very kindly sent me turtle wax cleaning products for the car.

So I thought what better way than to get my four year old twin girls to give their daddy a treat and help me wash the car.

I have picked five Turtle Wax products to review and the first one is the one I used to wash the car with the girls which was streak free wash & wax. This product was particularly good. It was quick drying, saving time and effort and easily removed dirt and traffic grime. It left no streaks, just a beautiful glossy turtle wax finish.

Next up was was a winner all the way for me. I have always found it difficult to remove bugs and tar in a conventional wash, but Turtle Wax have brought out a bug and tar remover which has powerful detergents which breaks down tar, tree sap and insects on contact and after spraying it forms as a gel and clings to all surfaces a brilliant product.

After you have washed your car the windows inside always need a clean and Turtle Wax have a product known as Clearvue glass clean. It is an intense formula to remove motorway grime, tobacco stains, finger marks, in fact just about everything to a sparkling clean – a definite winner for me.

Once all the washing and cleaning of the Windows is done the plastic trim always looks faded and Turtle Wax have the answer with their product Black in a Flash. It’s brilliant as it rejuvenates all plastic trim back to its original condition and will last for months.

And finally the last product is pure genius by Turtle Wax, a waterless wash. Wash your car without water, a hose or a bucket. The unique formulation cleans, shines and protects all paintwork without water. It encapsulates dirt and dust and creates a protective barrier to remove them without scratching, and this is designed to work with the latest microfibre cloths for a streak free finish. A brilliant idea that works.

I was very impressed by all the new products from Turtle wax and wouldn’t hesitate recommending them to family and friends.
My top tip for cleaning your car is to enlist the help of your children. It’s free labour and it’s actually loads of fun.
