My Converse Christmas Wishlist
Regular readers of my blog know I have five children. Three of which are teenagers. Over the years certain items, either clothes or shoes have been the must have item.
In a way I always felt a bit sorry for them because if they didn’t have certain items of clothing or shoes, they would feel left out within their circle of friends. Of course as a parent you always did your best to buy what they wanted, but with five children you simply can’t afford everything.
Thank goodness at Christmas you can push the boat out and spoil them all a little bit, and one of the first items on their Christmas list is always a new pair of converse shoes.
Converse really is one of top chosen footwear for teenagers today. If you are not wearing them well you are just not cool!
This all got me to thinking about why teenagers think Converse shoes are exclusive to their generation. I may be a dad and little bit past the teenage years, haha, but I actually like Converse shoes. They are so comfortable and if nothing else I can wind up my teenage children as they look in shock at me wearing them.
That’s why I’ve put together my top five favourite converses, in the hope that my children put their money together and buy me a pair. Here’s hoping!
1. My first choice has a definite army feel with this khaki look.

2. Second on the list is my favourite colour blue in this high top shoe.

3. Next up is a classic looking white that will go with anything you wear.
4. Fourth on the list is very classy black and gold shoe.
5. Finally on the list is my favourite a high-top leather shoe.

So hopefully my teenage children will see my wishlist for a new pair of converse shoes. Maybe if I’m really lucky they might get me three pairs for Christmas!

It’s all about the Cons and Vans – pretty sure I’m never going to grow out of them!
