Creating Memories With My-Picture.co.uk #AD Competition Win £50 Voucher

May 10, 2019

One of the things that I love to do is look at old photographs. They instantly re-create in my mind the memory of that special moment in which the photograph was taken. There really is nothing quite like holding a physical copy of a photograph.

Today with the smart phone those times seem to have changed and I’m sure, like me, you have thousands of photos on your phone and scrolling through them all can be a painstaking job just so that you can find the right photo you want to see.

So when I was recently approached by My-Picture.co.uk to review and try out their service I instantly thought yes! This is something that I will absolutely love to do. What really impressed me was being able to have that physical memory whether it be a canvas or blanket.

I have used these types of services before and yes they have been ok, but I have never been blown away so much that I would go back again.

My-Picture.co.uk is a game changer when it comes to creating photo memory’s that will last forever.

After setting up an account it was incredibly easy to use and uploading a photo was so simple and very quick. Once uploaded you then have the facility to adjust the photo exactly where you want it. One of the other things I loved was the selection of re-producing your photos on many different products which included on canvas, mugs and my particular favourite are the blankets. More about that in a minute.

First up I decided I had the perfect photo for a canvas. By pure chance my five children all happened to be around on the same day. I can tell you that this might only happen once or twice a year so I quickly arranged a photo shoot in the back garden of my wife, my five children and myself. This was the photo I decided I wanted to have on a canvas and the result, I’m sure you would agree, is fantastic. This canvas now has pride of place on our lounge room wall. It’s a 60cm x 40cm canvas and the cost is just £22 which I think is brilliant value. One word of warning though, when picking a photo make sure it fits on the front of the canvas otherwise heads or feet could be cut off as it wraps around the frame.

The other selection I made was the personalised photo blanket for my seven year old twin girls. I was a little bit dubious into how well these would turn out, but I needn’t have been. The quality of the photo printed on the blanket is absolutely first class. No colour or detail has been lost and I am truly over the moon with them. More importantly my seven year old twin girls love them. They are warm and amazing quality. A fabulous memory for the girls of their childhood to keep forever. Check out my video below showing the personalised photo blankets.

The whole process from picking your photos, uploading them and delivery is done with the greatest of ease and when they turned up I was over the moon with the quality of the product. It’s also worth noting that you can get free delivery on orders over £45 to mainland UK.

If you would like to try out My Picture.co.uk which I highly recommend you do, I can give you an exclusive 15% discount off already discounted canvases by using the code DIYDADDYCANVA in the voucher code box.

My final thoughts are My-Picture.co.uk is a quality service that offers something that is a little bit different and helps you re-create your memories and then you have the physical memory whether it be a canvas or a blanket. It is without question a 5/5 service and a quality product.

This looks like an amazing product! Like you, I’m a photo hog. I have definitely taken my fair share of pictures. I have to go through and clean out my stockpile of them from time to time. I like the idea of turning them into a gift like this!

I agree with you about physical memories. I’ve been using Chatbooks for a few years now. It’s automatically synced to my instagram and I get a photobook delivered every month (or every 60 pictures). I don’t even have to think about it which is great.

The blankets are amazing, and no getting them mixed up! I think the canvas is brilliant though, how lovely to get all the kids together on one pic, and it looks really great for the price. I’ve entered your competition, fingers crossed.

Those blankets are really cute. I actually just ordered a canvas of myself and my daughter for the living room. Pretty cool the stuff they can do nowadays

Those look really great, especially the blankets. It is very easy to forget the value of physical versions of photos when we all have so many stored electronically.
