Dare2B Cycling Clothes [AD]

If you are a regular reader of my blog, there is one thing that you know I love doing more than anything else as a hobby, and that’s cycling. It’s the feeling of freedom and just blowing away the cobwebs on a good, long bike ride. Releasing the endorphins just makes you feel better mentally and is perfect for your mental well-being.

In the winter the opportunity to go on a bike ride is dramatically reduced because of the weather and conditions in general. However, saying that we still get lovely sunny days even though it may be a bit cold. So as long as you wrap up warm it can be just as much fun as a bike ride in the summer. It’s all about wearing the right gear.

I have teamed up with Dare2B and they have sent me some cycling clothes to try out. Here is what I thought of the cycling clothes.

1. Mediant waterproof reflective Cycling Jacket RRP £80.00

This is a quality jacket that is perfect for cycling, but could also be used by runners.

It’s waterproof and reflective which is exactly what you need during the winter months when going on a bike ride. Incorporated in the jacket is Biomotion which is where retro reflective trims are incorporated in the materials which will make you more visible on those winter bike rides.

The jacket fitted really well with zipped up pockets for your phone and has a full zip on the front. It was very comfortable and has become my go to jacket for my bike rides.

2. AEP Alternation cycling Jersey RRP £50.00

This is a short sleeved cycling jersey that is perfect either under your cycling jacket or on its own when you are on your bike rides during the spring or summer.

The jersey is made from Q-Wic technology and has a 7/8 venting zip for those hot days. It has anti-bacterial odour control treatment, a good wicking performance and is quick drying. It also has three pockets at the back including a zipped security pocket for your phone or keys.

The fit is excellent and it was very comfortable to wear. I will definitely be using this cycling jacket during the summer. I loved the print and it’s total quality.

3. Bold Quick Drying padded Shorts RRP £30.00

When you go on a bike ride of any distance an absolute must is padded shorts. I go on bike rides of between 20k-50k, so for me padded shorts are absolutely essential.

The bold Quick Drying shorts are cool and cushioned. They are constructed with Q-wic polyester stretch fabric and they have a sport performance gel pad with coolmax comfort technology.

The shorts fitted perfectly and they were fantastic on a bike ride. I was particularly impressed with how well they fitted. They were skin tight yet they didn’t feel tight. These are quality shorts.

So that is my review of Dare2B cycling clothes. They are excellent quality and I would highly recommend them if you are either a leisure bike rider or somebody who likes to go on longer, bigger rides.
